Actress Sigrid ten Napel was bullied at school
Sigrid ten Napel has no easy time had on the basis – and later high school. “At school I was bullied. I noticed firsthand how sensitive and vulnerable I was.”
The Penoza-actress tells JAN about her awkward school years. Ten Napel (24) has no idea why she by of her classmates was locked out.
“Yes, I was expressive, carried everything what I liked: tough jongensbroeken with things embroidered. I was in ballet, and then you are a tuttebel. And I was smart.”
With her parents she couldn’t really visit with her the negative thoughts. “Superjammer that I just got a little more complicated than they are, but they are sweet and have me never be limited.”
At the high school was not much better. “From day one I was different.” Acting offered her a way out. At the age of 16 she successfully auditioned for her role in the misdaadserie Penoza. Then she went to the Drama school in Maastricht.
