Activists block a Holland American Cruise ship, in order to protest against the pollution: ‘Cruises’ kill climate

A group of activists took over a cruise ship, hate to a whole new level.

About 50 activists blocked a massive cruise leaving from a port in Kiel, Germany, on Sunday. The group claims that it is not only the cruise ships make a significant contribution to the pollution, but the workers on these ships are frequently abused and underpaid.

The members of the group to Smash Cruises–t, positioned himself in front of the Holland-American Line ship Zuiderdam, with the aid of a small boat, Newsweek reports. They also displayed a large banner from a nearby crane, which read: “Cruises are killing the climate.”
