Acting American minister of Justice Sally Yates has been dismissed by president Donald Trump after she and her officials had ordered the temporary re-entry ban not to defend himself before the court.

The White House stated that “Yates, the ministry of Justice has betrayed” and let it be known that Dana Boente, the dismissed minister will temporarily replace. Boente is now working as a prosecutor in Virginia, and the Washington Post to let you know that he is the re-entry ban, however, will maintain.

Yates questioned the legal underpinnings of the presidential decree, The New York Times.

Yates writes in a letter to the lawyers of the ministry that it is the duty of the department is to always fight for justice. “At this moment I am not convinced that the defence of the decree in line with responsibilities, nor am I convinced that the decree is lawful,” said the minister.

Symbolic

The resistance of Yates, who was part of the government of Barack Obama, was, according to the newspaper largely symbolic. They would only minister to remain until her replacement Jeff Sessions is approved. That happens to be expected already in the short term.
