A woman who won a free ticket to the Disneyland resort for more than 30 years ago, finally managed to use the famous theme park in the state of California. Much to her surprise and delight, the park is honored to be the free of charge ticket.
Tamia Richardson visited Disneyland when she was 14 and won a free ticket as part of the park’s 30th Anniversary celebration in 1985, WSB-TV 2 reports. She had been to the park several times over the last 34 years, but seemed to have forgotten that she had a free ticket.
Richardson, a teacher in Alberta, Canada, is said to have found the ticket in a box full of souvenirs. She decided that she was going to try to use it.

She recently traveled to the park with her two daughters, and was handed the free pass to an attendant at the entrance to the park. Surprisingly, however, despite his 34-years-old, the ticket was honored, and Richardson provided for the entrance of the park.
The coach is reportedly replaced on the ticket by end of the day, which was worth about $149. In 1985, it is the ticket that Richardson won it, it was worth about $16.50, WSB-TV reports.

“I was a little nervous about it, because it was an old map,” Richardson told the Los Angeles Times. “I had my fingers and hope for the best.”

When she presented the ticket at the turnstile, an employee allegedly had with a manager if the ticket is still valid. Eventually, it was decided to make in honor of the award, and Richardson, and was admitted to the park with her two daughters.

When she originally won the ticket, and it was the least valuable prize in connection with the promotion, which will also include other prizes such as a brand-new Cadillac. Even with the rate of inflation, the ticket is not worth as much as a car, but it’s still a lot of Richardson’s face.
