A showdown over the topless sunbathing in the World, led on Monday to the charges of breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor, and against a 28-year-old woman, according to a new report.
The police have said that Anna Halderman, of Norwalk, was on Saturday arrested after surrendering to police. The incident happened July 15 in the Compo Beach area in Westport, Fox 61, In Hartford, are reported.
The investigation started with the police department to say they received a call from a woman who was on the beach with her young child, the station reported.
“The caller reported to the officers that they had observed a woman on a beach, then remove the top part of her bathing suit to tan,” police said in a news release on Facebook. “In the good faith belief that such conduct is inappropriate for a public beach, and this person has tried to confront the woman about what she was doing.”

“In talking with them, and try to get far as she was concerned, the woman allegedly became belligerent and proceeded to remove the bottom part of her bathing suit, exposing her butt cheeks,” according to the press release.
The complainant said Halderman appeared to her to be drunk, the news release said.

In a subsequent interview, Halderman, told the police that they will not be able to remember what they have done, but apologized for her actions, according to a press release.
Halderman is not an attorney, yet, according to police.
