A spectator comes to crash in the first stage of Rally Monte Carlo
In the first stage of the Monte Carlo Rally is Thursday night a spectator to the life after a crash of the driver, Hayden Paddon, as the organization has confirmed.
The first stage of the season was immediately cancelled after the New Zealand driver of the Hyundai crashed into a bend. His car collided with a rock wall and was then almost over the head.
The spectator, a 50-year-old Spaniard, got it for him. He was with a helicopter and transferred to a hospital in Nice, but died there of his injuries.
Paddon and co-driver Jonathan Kennard kept themselves no injuries on the incident. Paddon has via Twitter to let them know deeply touched by the deadly accident.
“My thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased spectator. We are shocked by what has happened. I offer my apologies to the family, the fans and the sport.”
