A nurse in the prison for killing baby indicted in another death

SAN ANTONIO – the Texas nurse who’s serving a 99-year prison sentence for the fatal overdose of a baby in her care is accused in the death of another child as officers try to keep her behind bars.

A Bexar (BAYR) County grand jury indicted Genene Jones Thursday in the murder of the count in 1981, and the death of the 11-month-old Joshua Sawyer.

Jones was where concurrent sentences out 1985 murder convictions: a 99-year prison sentence for the death of the 15-month-old Chelsea McClelland and a 60-years for the death of 4-week-old Rolando Santos.

However, she is due for release in March next year mandatory release law in effect at the time of her beliefs, and the parents of 60 infants Jones is suspected of killing want to keep her in jail.
