A North Carolina man who has collected $250,000 in insurance money on his wife’s 2018’s death, is accused of fatally poisoning her with eye drops.
Stacy Hunsucker’s death had been ruled a heart attack. She was a 32-year-old mother of two young children, who are now 5 and 6, and then, when she died.
Joshua Hunsucker, a paramedic, was charged with her murder on Friday, after being accused by an officer of justice, out of which the poison of the her in with the Visine.

A blood test will “detect high levels of tetrahydrozoline is that it is one of the active ingredients in some eye drops,” attorney Jordan Green said in court, according to Fox 46 In Charlotte.
The station also quoted Green as telling the court: “We believe that through the examination of the defendant and that’s what happened yesterday, and that he was the one who poisoned Hunsucker with Visine or a similar product.”
Hunsucker was ordered held on $1.5 million bond.
High levels of tetrahydrozoline in the body can lead to heart stoppage, WBTV reported.

The station quoted the prosecutors as saying that they believe that life insurance money was the motive for the crime.
The North Carolina Department of Insurance has opened a fraud case after Stacy’s mother, Suzie Robinson, reported her suspicions about the death, in May, the Gaston Gazette reported.
In a search warrant affidavit says that her suspicions were based on her belief that Hunsicker was having an affair during the marriage, the paper reported.

Two weeks before Stacy’s death, the local media reported the arrest of a South Carolina nurse, who was accused of killing her husband by putting eye drops in his water, the paper reported.
The paper also reported that Stacy had suffered from heart problems in the past and had a pacemaker fitted at the end of 2015.
Hunsucker’s Facebook page, it appears that, on the one year anniversary of the death of his wife, he posted a photo of the two of them together.
