A 60-year-old New York City man died at a hospital Friday, three days after the unidentified suspect brutally beat him, demanding money as he walked down a Bronx street early on christmas Eve, police said on Saturday.
The six attackers punched, kicked and stamped on Juan fresneda cork oak, as he attempted to keep his partner, the Town of Caceres, 29, vault of the assailants, who robbed him of $1, ABC News reported.
“My husband tried to get me to defend it,” Caceres told The New York Post. “He had his fists ready as he was ready to attack me. My husband said, ” you don’t get close to him.'”

Caceres said fresneda cork oak was telling him to run away.
“They beat him for 10 to 15 minutes,” he said. “I went back in and found him on the floor. He was breathing heavily and was bleeding from the head.”
The beating was caught on surveillance video, but no suspects have been arrested, the ABC reported.
“He takes care of me,” Caceres said. “He’s very calm, and I am the one who is stressed all the time.”
He told The Daily News he didn’t think the attack was a hate crime.
