A New Jersey man is caught on surveillance video in the forging of a slip-and-fall, was on Monday convicted and sentenced to probation, community service, and ordered to pay compensation for damages, according to a new report.

WABC-TV reported that Alexander Goldinsky of Randolph, received a two-year probation and 14 hours of community service.

He was also ordered to pay a $563.48 to an insurance company.

Prosecutors said the 58-year-old, who is an independent contractor who was contracted to work on is a Woodbridge company, which has filed a claim for compensation for a fake injury.


He filed a claim alleging he was injured after he slipped and fell on the business end.


However, the security footage showed him intentionally throw the ice cubes onto the floor. In the video, released by the public prosecutor’s office, Goldinsky is seen to fall on the floor, in the area of the ice and threw it to him.

Goldinsky, was arrested in January and charged with third-degree insurance fraud and theft by deception.
