A Yorkshire Terrier, was shot and killed in an apartment in New York City at the weekend after an unidentified gunman appeared at the door, and began opening fire, police say.
The incident, which happened on Sunday evening at an apartment complex in the neighborhood of the Bronx, began as a verbal dispute escalated into violence, the researchers told Pix 11. The two men had knocked on the door and a pulled out a gun and started shooting.
“They were aimed the gun and shot them in the Hercules, right by the christmas tree,” has a Sauna, Pesante, an 8-year-old, who lives there, told the New York Daily News.

“Hercules, I was just laying on the floor by the tree,” she added. “My mother went to him and we saw he had a hole in his side, in his stomach. I was scared, I was crying.”
The dog who belonged to one of the other women in the area had been in the apartment, in the hope that it will breed with another Yorkie that was living there.
In the end, the owner of the apartment and slammed open the door of the shooter’s hand, and his wife is put to the person by a power drill, and the New York Daily News reports.

The two men, one of whom the paper described as being dressed in black, are still on the loose as of Monday morning.
The owner told the New York Daily News that he hasn’t seen them before, but as he did so, it appears that the residence was a drug den before the family move in, and it was broken into two months ago.
