A Man threatens to kill a child, and set friend on fire for a wild car chase, police say

A suspect is in custody after he threatened to kill a child, and his girlfriend is on fire, in Mississippi, when the police on a chase through Tennessee, on Tuesday, the police said.

In a press release sent to Fox News, the Olive Branch, Miss., the police department said officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with an injured person on a Tuesday after a woman was doused with a flammable liquid and set fire to it by her boyfriend, who had fled from the scene.”

The police said the suspect, now identified as 42-year-old Jeremy Manning, of Olive Branch, was a 3-year-old girl with him, and then he had to leave.

“The two officers who are on the team, the car was transported in a critical condition,” according to the Memphis Police Department.

The department said the officers caught up Manning after a foot chase in Olive Branch.

The child had not been damaged and is being reunited with its mother, the Olive Branch, according to police.

The 3-year-old granddaughter from the burning victims, according to the Memphis police department.

Manning’s girlfriend, was in critical condition at an area burn center, according to Olive Branch police department.

Memphis police said Manning was transported to a hospital for evaluation, due to the fact that he was allegedly taking drugs.”

Manning has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault to the police, the child, the child, the threats, and arson.
