Wayne Newton says, “Thank you Shoe that” the jury that sentenced a thief who broke into the singer’s Las Vegas house last year.
On Friday, a Nevada jury found a Weslie John, Martin, 22, found guilty of 12 offences, such as burglary, theft of a firearm, robbery with use of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Martin’s life can be put behind bars if he has a prior record of burglary and firearms convictions.

He will be sentenced in the Newton case, on Aug. 15.
Martin’s, a public presentation Will be Ewing, and Chris Peterson told the jury that he was being accused of crimes he did not commit. Peterson said they are looking for leniency from the judge and the judge over the case, it is the nature of the profession.
Newton and his wife, Kathleen McCrone Newton, and their 17-year-old daughter testified Tuesday about the meeting of two of the robbers on the flight home. The family was in the courtroom for the verdict.

Newton previously testified that he was carrying a gun and fired a shot into the air to scare away two of the robbers, that he and his family are apparently surprised when she came home after one of his Las Vegas Strip performances.
The 77-year-old “Danke Schoen” singer said to his wife, saying that a corrupt man is stabbed with a tire iron as if to get rid of her before it is to be used for an attack on the family’s large Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. The other dog is chasing the other robber.
The Newton was not injured in the accident, but the dogs have been treated by a vet for head injuries and a broken tooth. Police have reportedly found evidence that the intruders had attempted, but failed, to pry open a safe inside the house.

The officers of justice, and John Giordani, and Jory in Scarborough, called the sentence appropriate.
“What was he charged with and what he was doing. Plain and simple,” Giordani told the jury during closing arguments.
The trial lasted for three days, the jury of seven women and five men deliberated about six hours.

Martin’s lawyers acknowledged that Martin’s face was caught in a door bell, a security camera at a nearby home on the night of the first Newton house break-ins. Newton was in New York at the time.
The authorities said that Martin sold the items taken in the evening to flip a coin and jewelry business. He was arrested in July of 2018 and sent to prison for a firearms conviction.
Peterson told the jury that no items from the second burglary and have been sold to or found by the police, and it is just a very vague video of the Newton’s home, kick would have tied with Martin for the second break-in.

The lawyer also pointed out by Kathleen, Newton’s two-page written statement to the police, who are said to have never been threatened with a tire iron.
Wayne Newton is marking its 60th year in the performance of his signature song, “Danke Schoen,” in Las Vegas and on tour. He used a cane in court, telling the jury that he had had recent back surgery.
