A Virginia judge on Wednesday denied bond for a Florida man who alleged plot to murder his wife went awry earlier this month when he was shot and paralyzed.
Henry Frank Herbig, 65, appeared in court via video conferencing from his prison hospital bed. He has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime has been committed.
The prosecutor said Herbig, 65, broke down at the Virginia Beach home of his estranged wife on Sept. 8 and assaulted her and her daughter with the key, WGNT-TV in Norfolk reported.

He was shot in the back by his step-daughter during the attack and left paralyzed. Authorities determined she had acted in self-defense, and not on the cost.
The researchers said that they had a magazine in Herbig the cars that are listed are planning to commit the murder. He told me that he has used for more than one car to drive from Florida to Virginia, and bought gas cans so that he wouldn’t have to stop.

The prosecutor said the Herbig-rich, and is a flight risk because of his connections with the different pilots and houses, one of which is in the vicinity of the Canadian border. Even though he was not able to walk, they said, he is still a threat.
His lawyer argued Herbig’s going to be released, so it should be able to receive adequate health care at a different facility.
