A 93-year-old woman whose family thought she should have died in the deep down in the basement, the staircase, and was killed, according to the Connecticut police.
A 93-year-old Connecticut woman has been found dead at the bottom of the cellar and was killed, police said.
She Mehner, was found unresponsive in her home in Stamford, on Wednesday, by members of the family. They thought that the fall was accidental, police said.
“With the support of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, it was determined that the injuries the victim sustained were not consistent with a fall down the stairs,” police said on Thursday. “This will be the case is being investigated as a homicide.”
The cause of death was not released.
Mehner, it was found at the bottom of a flight of steps leading to the basement, and Fox 61 In Connecticut has been reported.
She was living alone at the train station, told us that the family of the woman decided to check on her, and when she could not reach her by phone in the afternoon on a Wednesday.

“She’s 93 years old,” he said. “Why would you want to do something like that? It’s just a terrible thing.”

Roy Mehner, told WABC-TV on Friday that his mother is dead, was very much a cause for concern. “She’s 93 years old,” he said. “Why would you want to do something like that? It’s just a terrible thing.”
The station reported that the items were taken out, and the door to the house was unlocked.
A neighbor told The Stamford Advocate she discovered the young boys and girls in Mehner’s driveway in the early afternoon. They said that they would be able to have a fight, and that’s what it was all about, broke up, when Mehner was coming out.
