55 arrests at protest Sikh temple in England
The British police have dozens of people arrested during a demonstration at a Sikh temple in the place, Leamington Spa. The demonstrators insisted, according to British media, the house of worship within a marriage of people with different beliefs to prevent.
The group loved the foyer of the building for about eight hours long occupied. They were doing so presumably their meaning: the planned marriage between a sikh and a hindu, had, according to The Guardian, be postponed.
The protesters would be the last few months multiple times and have tried the temple to enter a protest against mixed marriages.
The police intervened, eventually, and took a “significant number” of fighting knives seized. It goes according to the newspaper, and especially to ceremonial daggers.
The group of Sikh 2 Inspire in the accused, according to the BBC in a statement on Facebook about the police action. According to the organization, went to a peaceful protest.
