“I like to say that it was a race. 50 Cent’s comments, “Power” creator Courtney Kemp, who will be with him on the stage, sarcastically said, “well, we’ll never get it.”

“Power” stars Omari Hardwick as a man who is trying to leave behind his life as a drug kingpin and the deal is legit. The series has grown to be one of Starz’s most popular shows, but the popularity of the series is not yet reflected in the Emmy nominations.

“This project is the same material that I used for my music,” he said. “No, I didn’t receive an award for best new artist, I had the biggest debut for a hip-hop album. I sold more records for a debut album it is today. I can see it’s the same thing. I’m going to make the numbers. The viewing public before it’s finished, they’ll look around and say, ” Yes, we are (expletive) up.’ “

“Power” will air its sixth and final season in two parts, one of Starz, said. In the first half of the 10 episodes will begin, as previously announced, on Aug. 25. The final five episodes will begin being broadcast in January.

Kemp said as for the Emmy snubs were “disappointing.” But she was also happy that the show has received the recognition of “the public”, including the NAACP Image Awards.

“I thought we were doing something new,” Kemp said. “I was hoping that the Emmy voters should take notice of this, and they didn’t know. You just have to accept it and move on. However, we have a winning image Awards have now been there for some time. It is as if the very core of our target audience’s love and respect for the show. Not every show gets the attention it deserves.”
