LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting that broke out at a North Hollywood party and left seven people injured.
The police said Sunday that five people were hit by gunfire and two others were injured trying to get away from the violence. All were expected to survive.
Lt. Bob Toledo tells City News Service that two people were detained in what he called a “running gunbattle.”
Police say casings of different types of ammunition specified multiple guns were used.
Three men and two women sustained bullet wounds. The victims were all in their 20s.
