The authorities in New York said on Tuesday’s the five, apparent drug overdose in the Bronx and in Yonkers and can be linked to a batch of tainted cocaine.
Yonkers police said they are investigating the death of a 38-year-old man on Friday and a 40-year-old man on Saturday. There have been three other deaths in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx, Fox 5 New York reported.
The authorities in New York believe that it was a series of deaths that can be linked to a bad batch of cocaine.
Yonkers Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos told News12 Westchester that the police have noticed a pattern that it may be appropriate for a public warning said to expect it to investigate the matter.
“Now that we know that there is a maximum of five deaths associated with this batch of cocaine, so we just want the public to know not to get those illegal drugs, in the street, because the consequences can be fatal,” Politopoulos said.

Yonkers and new YORK authorities are working together to track down the source of the cocaine, and that the question of whether the drug has been linked to the death. No arrests have been made.
