COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four people are injured in a drive-by shooting in Ohio during a wake for a man who was killed in the same street earlier this week.
The police were called to the scene in Columbus, shortly after 9 a.m., Wednesday.
Authorities say two people were transported to a hospital in critical condition. One of the victims was later expanded to a stable condition. A third person was hospitalized in stable condition and a fourth victim was treated at the scene.
The police are looking for a suspect. A motive is still under investigation.
The shooting happened during a vigil for the 29-year-old Brandon Meeks, who was shot and killed on Monday. Meeks was the city’s 130th murder victim of the year.
The police have not said if the shootings are connected.
