Three men were shot and killed and another woman was hit by a vehicle in a chaotic scene outside the main entrance of the Minnesota State Fair on Monday night, police said.
A 19-year-old woman was hit by a car outside the convention center: Approx. Paul, Minn., at around 10:00 o’clock in the Pc. Paul Police Department said in a news release.
Responding officers said they found the woman lying in the street breathing, but not responding. She was rushed to Regions Hospital, where she remained in critical condition as of Tuesday morning, the press release said.

The driver initially stopped but left the scene when the crowd began punching and kicking the car. He was a short distance away, pulled over and called 9-1-1, police said. The authorities have said that they do not believe the driver was impaired, and he has been working with the police department.
As police investigated the crash site, and a number of gun shots rang out about a block away, leaving the hustle and bustle of the room, to lift themselves out of the game. The officers ran toward the gunfire and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Regions Hospital. The two men arrived at hospitals with gunshot wounds, later in the evening, one of the Region’s Hospital, according to the United Hospital.
“Everyone was in danger. A number of shots were fired,” St. Paul Police spokesman Steve Linders told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “We are, fortunately, more and more people are not injured or killed.”
The Minnesota State Fair has announced that it is celebrated by a record crowd of more than 250,000 visitors on Monday. Linders told the Star Tribune that the three men, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues. He said: “it’s too early for me to say, as a pedestrian, crash, and the subsequent shooting incident were related.

Linders adds that prior to the crash and the shooting, the police had already been investigating the St. Paul’s fifteenth homicide of the year in a house located just seven kilometres from the hotel.
