2 in the Somali refugee was arrested in Arizona for allegedly trying to board a flight to Egypt to join ISIS: report

The united states Department of Justice announced on Monday that the two Somalis who were living in the United States as refugees have been arrested in Arizona last week, before boarding a plane to Egypt, where they reportedly planned to travel to join the ranks of ISIS.

Ahmed, Mahad Mohamed, 21, A Yemani, Hussein, 20, was arrested at Tucson International Airport on July 26. They have been checked in to board a flight to Egypt, the ministry said in a statement. The two allegedly planned to travel to egypt’s Sinai region to join ISIS.

If they are not in a position to travel the pair allegedly planned to carry out an attack in ISIS’s name to the AMERICAN soil, the Phoenix, Fox 10 reported.

Court documents said that in the two States, Muhammad and entered the United States as refugees from Somalia. Mohamed had been granted legal permanent resident status by the time he was arrested. States still had the status of a refugee.
