‘2 billion people are not eating healthy enough’
More than 2 billion people, important vitamins and minerals deficiency in their daily meals. The Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition warns that as a result the risk of various diseases increases.
In the report, Sunday presented to the United Nations, writing scientists that the bad eating habits will not only lead to overweight in a third of the world’s population in 2030, but that a quarter of children younger than five years old less grows well by malnutrition.
Also result in an increase in heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. According to the panel, there will by doctors and scientists just as extensively considered to be to the food problem when dealing with hiv and malaria.
Although in many countries, people have enough calories in their diet, the nutrients that they ingest not enough. It is missing lot of food of vitamins and minerals that are essential for the development and growth of the body.
The panel therefore argues for a better variety in food: people should have more vegetables, fruit, whole grains, fibers, nuts and seeds. The consumption of sugar, sweet drinks and snacks and all deli meats must be properly decreased.
