An 18-year-old Arkansas man was formally charged after an attempt to steal a plane so he could fly to a rap concert in another country in the past month.
Zemarcuis Devon Scott was discovered around 2:30 pm, after the airport security personnel contacted the police about seeing a man jumps over the Texarkana Regional Airport gate, the Texarkana Gazette reported.
MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING A PLANE
When the police arrived, they found Scott sitting in the cockpit of an American Eagle twin-jet engine, the Gazette reported.
Police questioned Scott’s lack of training of pilots, which the young man reportedly told the authorities that he did not believe there was much more to flying than on the buttons and levers to pull, FOX8 reported.

Scott was formally charged with commercial burglary and attempted theft of property with a value of more than $25,000. The suspect is being held in the Miller County jail with bail set at $25,000.
