A 13th suspect was reportedly arrested on Sunday in the “brutal” stabbing death of the 15-year-old Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz.

The police in New York City on Sunday arrested a 13th suspect in connection with the “brutal” stabbing death of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz in June.
Ronald Urena, 29, was charged with murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon, gang assault and conspiracy, according to WPIX. His arrest is reported, marks the 13th in connection with the Guzman-Feliz’s to kill.

Luis Cabrera Santos, 25; Danilo Payamps Pacheco, 21; Daniel Fernandez, 21; Jose Muniz, 21; Manuel Rivera, 18; Santiago Rodriguez, 24; Kevin Alvarez, 19; Elvin Garcia, 23; Joniki Martinez, 24; Jose Taverez, 21; Diego Suero, 29; and Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, 26, has also been arrested in Guzman-Feliz’s death, according to various reports.

On the evening of 20 June the New York Police Department (NYPD) said officers responded to a 911 call about an assault in progress just before midnight.
Surveillance images showed Guzman-Feliz is dragged out of the shop from his attackers, who were seen repeatedly stabbing the teen with a machete.
Guzman-Feliz, according to the researchers, was in an argument with a group outside of the bodega on East 183rd Street and was stabbed in the neck. The defendants bolts and Guzman-Feliz ran to the hospital across the street, where he died.

The ministry said in July that those who are responsible for the Guzman-Feliz, is the death “feel the wrath of the NYPD.”
“We will not rest until everyone responsible is, what role in that tragic incident, is brought to justice,” Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea said at the time.
MULTIPLE ARRESTS IN THE STABBING DEATH OF 15-YEAR-OLD BOY IN NEW YORK
Guzman-Feliz was enrolled in the NYPD Explorers program, a youth and his dream was to be a detective for the city, his family said after his death. A scholarship fund was created in his honor, and two teenagers who are leaving the program for the college this fall will receive their prices in the past week.
Nahomi Zambrano, one of the recipients, told WABC that ” Some of my friends, they have been through a lot, and I want to change that.”

“That is something that I always wanted to do, especially the violence of the gangs. That’s something Junior went by, and I feel so sad about that,” Zambrano said.
A street in the Bronx was renamed in Guzman-Feliz honor in June, so that his name and legacy will never be forgotten,” New York city Council Member Ritchie Torres said.
