1300 Lufthansa flights to be cancelled as the cabin crew strike enters second day

A total of about 1,300 flights cancelled due to Lufthansa, in the middle of a strike organized by a trade union, the German airline and the cabin crew — a strike that is now into its second day.

The union organising the strike, Ufo, and had previously scheduled two-day strike on Thursday and Friday as part of its dispute with the carrier over pay and Ufo’s legal status.

Earlier this week, Lufthansa aims to prevent the strike through legal action, Reuters reported.
